We arrived at Country Roads RV in September, the same day we finally picked up Big Bertha after having the damage from our Washington, D.C. trip repaired. After weeks of moving around while waiting for the repairs to be completed, we were ready to settle in one place for a little while.
We chose Country Roads RV for a couple of reasons—its location worked well for us, and it offered the flexibility of staying month to month. Right now, we honestly have no idea how long we’ll be here. There are several factors that will determine what comes next, so for now, we’re taking things one month at a time and calling Country Roads RV home.

The majority of the sites at Country Roads RV are pull-throughs, with back-in sites also available. During our stay, sewer was being installed at the back-in sites, which will be a nice addition once completed.
One of our biggest campground pet peeves is grass that isn’t kept mowed, and Country Roads RV definitely exceeds our expectations in that department! The owners are constantly mowing and maintaining the grounds, and you can tell they take pride in keeping the park looking nice.
The laundry room is a nice size, and there is also a pavilion with several tables that can be used for gatherings or parties.
The sites are spacious when it comes to width, although we do wish they were a little longer—especially for larger rigs like ours. With Big Bertha, we have to choose between parking our tow vehicle at our site or lowering our back patio. Unfortunately, there just isn’t enough length for us to do both. This may not be an issue for smaller rigs, but it is something those traveling with a larger fifth wheel or toy hauler may want to keep in mind.
If you’re looking for a quiet place to stay month to month in Middle Tennessee, away from the hustle and bustle of traffic, Country Roads RV is definitely worth considering. Monthly stays are available, but electricity is additional and not included in the monthly rate.

Memorable Moments & Insights
During our first month at Country Roads RV, we honestly didn’t have many memorable moments to share. The Tennessee heat kept us inside more than we would have liked, and sometimes RV life means recognizing that not every stop is going to be packed with sightseeing and adventures.
Now that some cooler, fall-like weather is hopefully on the way, we’re looking forward to getting out and exploring more of the area. Just because we’re sitting in one place for an undetermined amount of time doesn’t mean the adventures have to stop! There are still places to see, things to do, and memories to make—we’ll just be doing it with Country Roads RV as our home base for a while.

There are several attractions within driving distance of Country Roads RV that we’re hoping to check out while we’re here. The Lost Sea Adventure and Mayfield Dairy Farms are both on our list, and with some cooler weather finally on the way, we’re hoping to visit them soon.
One advantage of staying here for a while is that we don’t have to rush to see everything in just a few days. We can take our time, explore the surrounding area, and hopefully discover a few places we didn’t even know about along the way. We’ll be sharing those adventures as we go!
Best For: Country Roads RV is best for RVers looking for a quiet, relaxing place to slow down and enjoy some downtime. With spacious sites, a peaceful setting, and the option for month-to-month stays, it’s also a good choice for those who need a place to settle in for a little longer than the typical campground stay.
There aren’t really any amenities geared specifically toward children, so families looking for a campground with a playground, pool, or lots of activities for the kids may want to keep that in mind.
For us, it has been a nice place to simply slow down, enjoy some quiet time, and use as a home base while we figure out where the road takes us next.
