Memory Wall

Embark on an unforgettable adventure with us and explore the hidden gems of America.

From 2015 to present

"Where We've Been: Our US Travel Map"

The date represents the first year we were in that state. Some states we have visited multiple times, multiple years.

Our map is always changing! The colored states represent where we've explored during each chapter of our RV journey, while the white states are still waiting for us. We can't wait to discover them—and share those adventures with you.

Destinations We've Explored

Traveling isn't just about checking places off a map—it's about the memories made along the way. These are the destinations we've explored during our RV travels, beginning with our first full-time journey in 2015. Some were places we had dreamed of visiting for years, while others surprised us in ways we never expected. Click through each destination to read our story, browse our photo galleries, and discover what made each stop memorable.

NORTH CAROLINA

Journey Through the Blue Ridge Mountains

From Cherokee history and breathtaking waterfalls to wild elk roaming Cataloochee Valley, our time in Maggie Valley was an unforgettable stop.

KENTUCKY

Horses, Baseball, and a Piece of History

From watching thoroughbreds train to visiting the Louisville Slugger Museum, Kentucky gave us a memorable mix of horses, baseball, and history.

OHIO

Covered Bridges, Amish Country & Lessons Along the Way

From a campground lesson we never forgot to the Columbus Zoo, Amish country, and a search for covered bridges, Ohio gave us plenty to see—and a few lessons in RV life along the way.

NEW YORK

Experience the Beauty of Niagra Falls

Standing in the mist of Niagara Falls was the realization of a lifelong dream and remains one of the most breathtaking places we've ever experienced.

VERMONT

Back Roads, Covered Bridges & Small-Town Charm

We traveled Vermont's back roads in search of covered bridges, discovering beautiful countryside, historic structures, and a stop at the Vermont Country Store along the way.

NEW HAMPSHIRE & MAINE

Lighthouses, Coastal Views & New England Beauty

From New Hampshire's scenery to Maine's rocky coastline, our travels took us in search of lighthouses, including Whaleback, Nubble, and Goat Island, and gave us a beautiful glimpse of coastal New England.

MASSACHUSETTS, RI & CT

Cape Cod, Coastal Roads & a Lighthouse Hunt

Cape Cod gave us a taste of coastal Massachusetts before a road trip through Rhode Island and Connecticut sent us searching for lighthouses. The day didn't go quite as planned, but we still found a couple of lights—and added three more states to our journey.

NEW YORK CITY

A Day in the City We Barely Scratched the Surface Of

A ferry ride past the Statue of Liberty led us into New York City, where we visited the 9/11 Memorial, tackled the subway for the first time, and discovered just how much of the city we were going to leave unseen.

PENNSYLVANIA

NASCAR, Amish Country, Chocolate & Covered Bridges

Pennsylvania gave us a little bit of everything—from Pocono Raceway and the Amish farms of Lancaster County to Hershey's Chocolate World and historic covered bridges tucked into the countryside.

WASHINGTON, D.C.

Returning to the Journey We Never Got to Finish

Washington, D.C. was supposed to be part of our travels in 2016, but life changed our plans. Ten years later, we finally made it there, exploring the monuments, Arlington National Cemetery, the Capitol, Library of Congress, and more during America's 250th celebration year.
