Campground Review – Raleigh Oaks RV, Four Oaks, NC

Sometimes the best campground isn’t the one packed with activities—it’s the one that gives you a comfortable place to rest before getting back on the road. That was exactly our experience at Raleigh Oaks RV Resort in Four Oaks, North Carolina.

We chose this park as a convenient overnight stop while traveling to Hill’s Landing in Cross, South Carolina, and it served its purpose well.

Although our stay was brief and we didn’t have the opportunity to experience the resort’s amenities, we found it to be a clean, easy stop that made for a relaxing night’s rest before continuing our journey.

RATINGS: Based on Personal Stay and Observations

Our gravel site was level, and checking in was straightforward even though no staff were on-site when we arrived Sunday. Our arrival information was left for us with a phone number to call and confirm we had arrived. The campground served its purpose as an overnight stop, but at nearly twice the price of the other campgrounds we stayed at on this trip, we didn't feel it offered enough value to justify the cost.

OVERALL EXPERIENCE: 4

Site Quality: 5/5

Our reviews are based on our personal experience during our stay. Campgrounds can change ownership, policies, amenities, and pricing over time, so we encourage you to verify current information before booking.

Memorable Moments & Insights

Not every campground becomes part of the adventure. Sometimes you simply need a safe, convenient place to park for the night before continuing your journey, and that was the role Raleigh Oaks RV played for us. Since we were back on the road the next morning, we didn't have the opportunity to explore the campground or the surrounding area.

Nearby Conveniences & Attractions

Our stay at Raleigh Oaks RV was strictly an overnight stop while traveling to our next destination, so we weren't able to explore the surrounding community. Rather than speculate about what the area has to offer, we'll simply say our experience was limited to the campground itself.

Best For: Travelers looking for a convenient overnight stop while passing through eastern North Carolina.
